Reading 8 is a required course for all eighth grade students as part of the core curriculum block. The class meets every other day. The curriculum includes a study of historical fiction and drama genres, in addition to studying the elements of fiction and non-fiction.  Students will read a variety of literature both independently and as a class to put the skills they are learning into practice.
